Motion Graphic Designer
Bengaluru, India
You will:
- Create/edit explainer, short-form videos with the addition of graphics, gifs, and clips adding special effects. Attention to detail is most important.
- Adding relevant sound effects and background scores
- Discover and acquire video content from brand, and third party sources
- Splice raw film footage together from various sources and shoots, and combine it with other scenes to create cohesive stories
- Evaluate edited footage to make sure it matches the story from the script and meets the narrative agenda
- Edit footage into timelines and cut time out of certain shots to create a more impactful story for the audience
- Combine visual footage with audio sound effects, dialogue, ambient sound and a musical soundtrack to create relevant dramatic effects
- Use computer editing software programs, digital video effects programs and other tools to piece together film components
- Ensure all editing cuts, splices, changes and additions appear seamless and natural and help the story flow effectively in the finished product
- Integrate sound and audio effects from databases
- Discuss project timeline, narrative structure, story goals and more with the studio leads as the project is edited
You are:
- A professional with 3 or more years experience in editing videos for commercial brands
- Passionate about creative storytelling
- Knowledgeable in producing videos for social media platforms
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut etc.)
- Experienced in working with video editing software
- Someone who pays solid attention to detail
- Internet and social media savvy, aware of the latest trends
- Proactive and ready to take initiative and run with new ideas
